Every Moment Watercolour Card

I got two new stamp sets yesterday!!  I attended Stampin’ Up! Regional Training here in Canberra and everyone who attended were given the Every Moment stamp set (p72 IB&C).  We used the stamp set to make three make & take projects.  This card was the first make & take.. I must have done too much talking as I didn’t get the other two projects finished… will post them up once they are done. 

Anyway, I had a great day and learnt lots of new things!  Plus I won a Lucky Door Prize!!  A free stamp set from the new Summer Mini Catalogue due to be released 1 December.   Once I get the stamp set mounted I will make some cards so you can have a sneak peek at what new products are coming available soon.

October Monthly Card Making Class

Monthly Card Making Class: this Sunday 17 October 10am.  At this class you will create 3 different cards using the new Shimmer Paint.  The class is suitable for beginners. Sorry, not the best photo but it is hard to take a picture of the Shimmer Mist.

Elements of Style

I have three cards to share with you today that have all been stamped with the Elements of Style (p99 IB&C) stamp set.  This first card sparkles (not that you can tell in the photo) as I used the new Shimmer Paint White Frost (p143 IB&C).  I put a small amount of the paint in a mist bottle with some ISOCOL alcohol rubbing solution and sprayed it on the card stock.  It looks beautiful!

This card I used the new Scallop Trim Border punch (p148 IB&C) to create the trim to the right side of the card.

For this last card, I added butterflies that were embossed and cut using the Bigshot and the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die (p151 IB&C).  How teeny tiny is that butterfly above the words – so cute!
