Elegant Soiree Clock

Do you like my new clock?  It sits proudly in my craft room reminding me I should stop crafting and go to bed before midnight! 

I had a lot of fun making this project.  I purchased it as a clock making kit so I just had to work out what papers I wanted to cover it in.  I used Stampin’ Up! designer series paper Elegant Soiree (p44 IB&C).  I then used my BigShot (p150 IB&C) for the Butterflies and numbers.  The flowers were made using the Boho Blossoms Extra-large punch (p146 IB&C).

This is my first UStamp with Dawn and Friends – Oh My word Edition project.   I downloaded from the UStamp with Dawn and Friends website page pdf instructions by Danielle Daws but came up with my own colour combination.

Teenage Notebook

I recently made this journal cover for a friend’s daughter who turned 13.   I used the stamp set Extreme Elements (p52 IB&C) and also did some spritzing with a black Stampin’ Write marker and the Color Spritzer Tool (p 143 IB&C).  The name has been cut out using the Big Shot with the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet die (p152 IB&C).

Valentine’s Day Projects

I saw these cute little chocolate love hearts in the shops which I thought I would be great to use on some little Valentine Day projects. Well that was my excuse for buying them but I have already eaten all the ones that I didn’t use!  Lucky my  husband doesn’t eat chocolate so I can finish the rest off on Valentine’s Day.

I was inspired by two talented demonstrators for these projects.  The red envelope die purse idea come from Carrie Gaskin  and the black box from Bronwyn Eastley.

Inkspirations Sketch Challenge #55

I was inspired by the Inkspirations Sketch Challenge 55 to make this birthday card.  The card has also been sprayed shimmer paint (frost white with some rubbing alcohol) but it is hard to see the shimmer in the photo.

Today is my friend (and downline) birthday and here is the card I made for her. 

I used the Big Shot Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die (p 154 IB&C) to cut the butterfly out of Specialty Designer Series Paper Presto Patterns (p10 Summer mini).  This paper has a glossy design that is revealed when you add ink to the paper.  I applied pink pirouette to the paper with a sponge dauber to reveal the glossy words on the paper. 

I used two stamp sets on this card: Vintage Vogue (p157 IB&C) and On Your Birthday (p102 IB&C).
