Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

The Open Sea

Today’s card uses one of my favourite stamp sets from the current Summer Mini Catalogue is The Open Sea stamp set (p18) and it coordinates perfectly with the Designer Series Paper Nautical Expedition (p19).

I did some fussy cutting of the sails and the water to give the image some dimension.  It is hard to see in the picture but I also sponged clouds behind the ship.  Here is a close up:

Do you live in the Canberra area?  Do you want more ideas on how to use this stamp set?

On 17 March 2012,  I am joining forces with a local group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators, Avid Inkers, to present The Nautical Expedition Stamp Camp.  At this stamp camp you will receive tuition on how to make five cards using The Open Sea Stamp Set and learn various stamping techniques.
