Simply Stampin’ Challenge #61 – Sketch

This week is a sketch challenge over at Simply Stampin‘.  I love sketch challenges and had fun with this one by adding a little suprise! I was inspired by the beautiful autumn weather here at the moment so decided to use French Foilage stamp set (p40 IB&C).

This card was made for my mother so I had to add “bling” somewhere!  The rhinestones remind me of the frosty weather we are starting to have here in Canberra.

I also decorated the envelope and wrapped the present in SU! brown packaging paper:

We have a fun challenge over at Simply Stampin’ for you this week.  The theme is monochrome with a splash (add one other colour of your choice)!

I have made a wedding card using the Wedding Wishes stamp from Easy Events stamp set (p40 IB&C).

Simply Stampin’ Challenge #59 – Colour Challenge

This weeks challenge at Simply Stampin‘ is a colour challenge: Regal Rose, Real Red, Island Indigo and Whisper White. 

Initially I was a bit stumped with where to start and while looking at my stamps I spotted my new but yet to ink up Baby Tees Jumbo Wheel (p54 IB&C).

I then looked through the Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalogue and was inspired by the layout from a card on page 54.  I have also seen some great banners out there on projects so decided to add one to my card.  My last challenge was to work out how to add Regal Rose to a boys card!  After playing around a bit with a punched out love heart (from the Build an Owl punch) I liked the idea of them sitting just below the banners.
