This week’s challenge at Simply Stampin‘ is a sketch challenge. You need to make a project based on a sketch design. I hope you play along with us this week! Click HERE to see the other fabulous Design Team projects and to take a look at the sketch.
I decided to make a male card using Need for Speed stamp set (p61 IB&C) and Extreme Elements (p60 IB&C). The Designer Series Paper is Well Worn (p129 IB&C) and is a fantastic paper to use for male cards.
I coloured the car using my blender pen and Not Quite Navy ink (click on the photos to enlarge):
Cheers Deb
Card Details:
- Stamp Set/s: Need for Speed, Extreme Elements and retired Happy Birthday stamp (not sure of the name of the set this one came from)
- Card: Early Espresso, Not Quite Navy and Whisper White
- Ink: Early Espresso, Not Quite Navy, Black StazOn and Crumb Cake
- Accessories/Tools: snail, dimensionals, paper cutter, bone folder, sponges, paper snips, blender pen, Antique Brass Brads (opps – I think one brad is silver) and Designer Series Paper: Well Worn.

Love this card Deb! How did you get the “splotch” in the bottom corner though?

Hi Jess, thanks for all your lovely comments! The “splotch” is a stamp from Extreme Elements stamp set (p60). Deb
