Today’s card is for my niece. I used the Henry Says  stamp set from the Seasonal Catalogue.  The elephant has been coloured using a blender pen  and Basic Grey Ink.

The shoe in the Dapper Dad stamp set (#129198) reminds me of an old fashion golf shoe.  This card is for someone who loves golf but I don’t think he gets out as often as he would like these days.

The shoe has been embossed with Early Espresso embossing powder (#128980).  I used my blender pen with a little crumb cake ink to add colour.  For the inside of the card… I used MDS!  I often run out of time and don’t get to finish off the inside of my cards so I am now using MDS to create a quick inside message:

I have been having a fabulous time with My Digital Studio (MDS)! I needed some thank you cards quickly and decided to go the Hybrid card option.  Each flower was cut out (with my new e-cutter…) then one was popped up with a Stampin’ Up! dimensional.  I designed the card using the MDS Playful Polka Dots kit and the Thank You Kindly stamp.

I also made a MDS scrapbook page.  I used the template supplied in the kit but made some changes to make it my own.

Note: at this point of time I will not be posting photos of my children.  This means any photos will be covered over with boxes.  Sorry, it definitely takes away from the layout but I am hoping that I can provide some you some inspiration from my layouts without the photos.

Stampin’ Up! are introducing new wood-mount stamp set packaging! These new cases are similar to the clear-mount boxes and fit perfectly on the shelf right next to them. They also have the images and stamp set name on the spine to make your search for the right set even easier.

Starting 1 July all wood-mount sets will come in this new packaging and empty cases will be available with the launch of the new catalogue. That means you can transfer all your old sets to these new boxes!  There will even be a template for you to create your own label for your old stamp sets (available 1 July). A pack of four half-size cases (9.5 x 14 cm) will sell for $8.95 AUD and a pack of four full-size cases (19.1 x 14 cm) will be $11.95 AUD.
