A little while ago I purchased some Colorado shoes and they were packaged in this mapping type paper. I just loved it and had to make a card with it. I thought it worked perfectly with the Seaworthy stamp set (p73 IB&C) to make a male card. The Happy Birthday is from Occasional Greetings stamp set (p19 IB&C).
Did you notice the two black pearls up in the top right corner. These are the large Stampin’ Up! Basic Pearls (p140 IB&C) but I coloured them in using a permanent black marker pen (make sure you do the colouring in before taking them off the back sheet!). I picked up this tip somewhere in blogland.
Here is a photo of how much shoe paper I have left. I will put it aside to make some Father’s Day projects later in the year.
Last weekend my family and I travelled to Sydney and stayed with friends we haven’t seen for ages. Anyway, we had a great time and I wanted to send a Thank you card.
I had already decided to use the Morning Tea Cup stamp set (p40 IB&C) as our friends love tea! Just before sitting down to make the card I read an email from Annette McMillan (Annette is part of the Avid Inkers Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators team that I belong too) who had set a challenge for the team to make a card using the Splitcoaststampers SC317 layout. That was enough inspiration to help me put this card together and I really like how it turned out!
Here is a close up of the tea cup and pot of tea.
Here is the layout I followed but I turned it on the side:

I made this card last September for my niece’s birthday. I used the Level 1 Hostess Only Birthday Bakery Stamp set (p10 IB&C) and I used a blender pen with inks to colour it in.
This card was made for a girl turning 7. The cakes are from the Level 1 Hostess Only set Birthday Bakery stamp set (p10 IB&C) and I coloured them in using a combination of Stampin’ Write Markers and a blender pen. The sentiment is from On Your Birthday stamp set (p102 IB&C) and Party this Way stamp set (p32 IB&C).
I choose the colours for this card based on the colours from designer series paper Island Oasis (p21 Summer Mini). I love the papers from this series as they are so bright and fun for birthday cards. There is also a coordinating stamp set Tropical Party (p21 Summer Mini) for these papers.
The Love Defined stamp set (summer mini p6) is such a versatile stamp set. For this card I teamed it up with Pony Party stamp set (p61) to create this card for a little girls birthday. The inspiration to use Love Defined as the background come from a beautiful card I saw made by Corinna Buchan.
Here is a close up of the pony. I stamped the image onto watercolour paper then used my aqua painter and inks to colour it in.
