Today’s post is a project I made a long long time ago for my mum. It uses her stamp set Hand Knit (p48 IB&C). I got the original idea to make this from a similar project made by the talent Bronwyn Eastley. Here are some more photos:

I have been working on this card on and off all last week and I finally got to finish it! I used the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge #59 Sketch:
I loved this sketch when I first saw it but time got away and I didn’t make the deadline to enter a card into the challenge.
I think it is a fabulous sketch so will keep it in my files to use again another time.
I wanted to also share this with you today! The picture below is my new stamp that my 3 year old daughter decided to cover with powder using the embossing buddy!!
I should know better and pack my things away – although I was sitting right next to her while she did it! I was concentrating so hard on the card I was making that I didn’t notice until it was too late!
At least the stamp washed up easily. Cheers Deb
This week I needed to make two cards. I didn’t have a lot of time so I did a quick blog search for a sketch and found the Clean & Simple: FTL186 sketch for this week:
I had intended to place the butterflies as positioned on the sketch. However, my son decided to join me just as I was finishing and demanded that he finish off the cards! Considering he was the one taking them to the twins birthday party I let him, with a bit of guidance, add the butterflies and rhinestones.
I also used a new product from the Autumn-Winter mini on the cupcakes – Vanilla Scented embossing powder – yummy!
The above card uses the Designer Series Paper Berry Blossoms (p129 IB&C) and stamp sets: Create a Cupcake (p36 IBC) and Bring on the Cake (p38 IB&C).
This is the second card using Designer Series Paper: Flirtatious Specialty (p127 IB&C):
