JAI#229 – Just Add Inspiration

JAI 229 pic

This week’s Just Add Ink Challenge is an inspiration image.  I love this photo but all I wanted to do was bake!!  The school my children attend are having a bake stall next weekend and I have been thinking about what I will make for the stall.  More importantly – what tag I will design to go with my baked goods.  I decided to use this week’s challenge as my inspiration:

The tag has been created using my e-cutter with MDS Digital: stamps, punches and papers.  I love that I can duplicate the tags and have my e-cutter cut them out very quickly.  In the bag are vanilla biscuits (with lots of food colouring).  I tried a few different biscuit shapes and although they do look a bit like play dough they are very yummy! This was my practice batch so I am thinking of using less colouring next time! I also made sure I printed the ingredients on the back of the tag:

I thought I would post two of my previous bake stall items with tags:

Gingerbread Men:

Banana Bread:

I do hope you will join us for this week’s Just Add Ink Challenge.

Cheers Deb

  1. Deb there is no doubt that these fabulous biscuits are going to be the star of the bake stall – they are fabulously eye catchingly colourful! The tag is the perfect dress up accompaniment. x

  2. Oh my gosh, Deb! You’ve GOT to post your recipes because these creations are SOOOO INSPIRING!!!! These are surely going to fly off the table – Stunning!!!

  3. These are just too cute Deb, l wouldn’t change a thing, they look fabulous and l’m sure taste just as good!….Sure to be hit at the stall..:0) xx

  4. Oh My Goodness Deb, you blow me away! You craft and cook – I can only manage one! Love the tags and all those yummy goodies! Emily (Miss 11) just said, “look at those awesome Rainacorn Poop Cookies” – What?! I said to her. She said, that’s what they call them! So looks like you don’t need to change a thing! I’m off to go and find a cookie. LOL.
