Just Add a Die Cut Word – JAI #500

Finally time on my hands to craft!! None of the usual weekend sport (for me or the kids) and I have finished cleaning the house. Cleaning the craft room is creating with my craft supplies… it is the one room in the house that I can’t throw anything away.

I think it has been almost 5 years since I last entered a card challenge! I was so glad to see that the girls at Just Add Ink are still going strong with the weekly challenges. This is my entry for ‘Just Add a Die Cut Word’. Inspired by the challenge and while working from home listening to my daughter practice on the guitar.

I hope to be back again soon.

Yay – I have actually taken a photo of a card!!  Sorry – it’s a poor quality photo taken on my phone.. then I tried to do some editing before posting but I don’t think that helped.

I made this card last week for the Just Add Ink Challenge – Just Add Butterflies but it has sat on my desk since then waiting for me to take a photo… it needs to go in the post tomorrow so thought I better share before sending it off.

Just Add Sketch

Wow – it’s been such a long time since I last posted a photo of a project!!  Let’s hope I can start to get back into blogging a bit more regularly..  Today’s project is based on this week’s Just Add Ink Sketch Challenge:

I was inspired to craft over the weekend after a coffee catch up with two of the lovely Just Add Ink girls – Patrice & Kim!  We had a lovely afternoon chatting about stamping and the new Stampin’ Up! 2015/16 Catalogue.  I was really keen to craft when I got home and I made this card for a friend who is turning 40 this week.  I always find sketch challenges are a great starting point for a card layout and the card came together quickly.  I love the soon to retire Confetti Celebration DSP… sad is it going but excited about new 2015/16 DSP’s about be to be released by Stampin’ Up!
