Yay – I have actually taken a photo of a card!! Sorry – it’s a poor quality photo taken on my phone.. then I tried to do some editing before posting but I don’t think that helped.
I made this card last week for the Just Add Ink Challenge – Just Add Butterflies but it has sat on my desk since then waiting for me to take a photo… it needs to go in the post tomorrow so thought I better share before sending it off.
Today is the release of the new 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue. Full of fabulous new stamps, embellishments, tools and so much more!! Exciting!!

Wow – it’s been such a long time since I last posted a photo of a project!! Let’s hope I can start to get back into blogging a bit more regularly.. Today’s project is based on this week’s Just Add Ink Sketch Challenge:
I was inspired to craft over the weekend after a coffee catch up with two of the lovely Just Add Ink girls – Patrice & Kim! We had a lovely afternoon chatting about stamping and the new Stampin’ Up! 2015/16 Catalogue. I was really keen to craft when I got home and I made this card for a friend who is turning 40 this week. I always find sketch challenges are a great starting point for a card layout and the card came together quickly. I love the soon to retire Confetti Celebration DSP… sad is it going but excited about new 2015/16 DSP’s about be to be released by Stampin’ Up!
Email me if you need any details about the card. Also, make sure you check out the Just Add Ink Design Team inspiration for this week’s challenge.
New Stampin’ Up! 2015/16 Catalogue goes on sale 2 June!
MDS digital brush stamp Reindeer cut out on e-cutter using white vinyl!
This week’s challenge at Just Add Ink is Just Add Inspiration #245:
I thought those two little white reindeers where so cute and used them as the inspiration for my card. To make the reindeer, I used my e-cutter and a MDS digital file from the digital brush stamp set Winter Post. I enlarged the reindeer image then cut the image out of white vinyl.
It is sad to say this is my last post as Guest Designer with Just Add Ink. I have really enjoyed being part of the JAI team but with my return to part-time work, softball season, family and other commitments has meant I have been extra busy and struggling to keep up! I love my crafting but lately my projects are being put together at the last minute just before handing over – hardly anytime for the glue to dry. Finding time to then take a photo and make a blog post has become difficult. I really appreciate what the JAI DT girls do behind the scenes to make such an inspirational challenge blog going – keep up the fabulous work girls!
If you haven’t already, make sure you check out the announcement for the new JAI team members, they are a fantastic group of talented ladies. Check out the post here.
I hope you find the time to play along this week as there is soooo much crafting inspiration in that photo. As I am sure I am not the only one that hasn’t finished off their Christmas cards yet!!
I will be taking a break from blogging until next year.
Wishing you a fabulous Christmas!
This week’s challenge at Just Add Ink is to Just Add Sketch:
I have used My Digital Class For The Home Ensemble – Digital Download files to create this card. Here is a close up of the diamond on the card:
I also decorated the inside of the card:
I hope you play along this week at Just Add Ink.
